We are excited for everyone to take a look behind the scenes at the inner workings of Connected Apparel through our fashion web series “Sunday Stories.”
Since 2000, Connected Apparel has been run by a tight-knit group of designers, e-commerce specialists, sales executives, patternmakers and more. And now, you’ll get to meet them all and get a better understanding of everything that goes on behind the scenes at Connected Apparel.
To kick off Sunday Stories, we are highlighting Jay and Leanna Balaban, the father-daughter duo at the helm of the sales and e-commerce teams, respectively. With over 40 years of experience, 23 of which have been as owner and CEO of Connected Apparel, Jay has witnessed first-hand the evolution of the fashion industry and seen how the internet changes business models. Which is why Leanna stepped in in 2017 to create a team and website dedicated to online direct-to-consumer and marketing initiatives. Together the two generations merge years of experience with new age technology to keep Connected Apparel relevant and thriving.
