Fall 2022 Tips & Trends

TIPS & TRENDS:

FALL 2022

What new styles have arrived for Fall 2022?

With the official start of Fall only a few weeks away our new styles have arrived just in time! Our new dresses and jumpsuits for next season include trending prints, colors, and your favorite Connected Apparel silhouettes. Let’s deep dive into upcoming trends and our latest looks.

Fall Florals

Although we may usually think of florals as a seasonal trend for Spring, Fall floral dresses are trending in warm colors. Think neutrals such as beige, red, hunter green, brown, and orange for the upcoming months. A great example is our new Liz Cinnamon Floral Bodycon Dress with classic red roses while the Lisa Cinnamon Floral Faux Wrap Dress has an abstract beige and blue floral twist. Also, keep in mind that styling these prints accordingly will complete your seasonal look, try pairing Fall florals dresses in boots, sweaters, or even leather jackets.

MUST HAVE PLAIDS

In the cooler months it is common to see the re-emergence of plaids, specifically check, tartan, and gingham styles. These popular plaid patterns are seen in flannel blankets, and flannel jackets while others are prominently related to school uniform attire. Another recurring plaid is the glen style, where there’s a thin colorful line that runs through the plaid print. We used this print style in our Nora Brass Plaid Sheath Dress, while the Tori Plaid Center Panel Work Dress has the popular houndstooth plaid.

Overall, plaid fall dresses are here to stay and can be worn dressed up or down based on the garment's silhouette. Feel confident knowing plaid fall dresses will forever be a wardrobe staple in whichever style you choose.

CHIFFON SLEEVES

Chiffon sleeve dresses trend this time of year due to their coverage and chic detail for special occasions. Our latest Stevie Spice Orchid Floral Sheath Dress has chiffon sleeves with slits, creating a flared detail in movement. For a more classic take on a floral sheer sleeve dress, opt for the Betty Spice Floral Long Sleeve Dress, which cinches at the wrist and has slight ruching at the shoulder. This makes the balloon effect a bit more refined. Both chiffon sleeve dresses are great semi-formal dresses for fall weddings.
